Elk River Youth Volleyball (ERYV) is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide the youth of Elk River an opportunity to participate in a variety of developmental and competitive volleyball programs. We train the young athletes in the community of Elk River for success in the sport of volleyball.
“What role did your parents have in your sports experiences growing up? Did they rush in to solve the problem so that you and they could get what you wanted? OR did they use these occasions to teach you about embracing challenges, teachable moments and adversity? Whenever I had an issue with an adult in my life growing up, my parents constantly put it back on me and what I could control about the situation.”
Volunteer hours/checks, additional team slush fund fees, required team apparel or mandatory fundraising. The fee you pay is your total cost.
When you put on a uniform and join our team, you are a representative of our program and our community. Your actions and words matter.
Parents: Detach self-esteem from achievement. Too many athletes attach their self-worth to their level of performance. Help your athlete understand that they are a person FIRST who happens to play a sport instead of an athlete who happens to be a person. Success in sport should not be the determinant of self-esteem.

Middle School is open to girls and boys in grades 6-8 and is designed to start growing those skills and capabilities learned in our younger programs. Play time will not necessarily be equal and parents are required to provide transportation to games.
YDT JO is a program for girls and boy in grades 2 - 5 that provides an opportunity for individual growth as well as deeper team development through practices and play dates. Since the focus of this program is overall development, there are not tryouts for players at this level. Teams are primarily based on age/grade/school.
Summer Camp focuses on development of individual and team skills while learning the fundamentals of competition and mixing in some fun (It's camp after all!) We tailor the experience and ability level of each age group - beginners and experienced players are welcome.
