Elk River Energy Volleyball Club
Elk River Energy (ERE) Volleyball Club is an Elk River area community-based competitive Junior Olympic volleyball club for girls in grades 3-12. The primary goal of ERE is to provide an opportunity for individual growth / development and advance player knowledge / volleyball skills through practices, tournaments & play dates.
Other goals include:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the rules and techniques of volleyball
- Develop good sportsmanship
- Learn teamwork, communication and life skills
- Have fun!
The JO season is from December to March with tryouts held in November. Practices, tournaments and play dates are typically located within the Twins Cities. Practice hours are limited due to parameters set by our District Facility policy.
Interested players are required to register and tryout in their grade division. Placement on a team will occur at tryouts and all players and parents are required to complete the North Country Region registration, player contracts, and uniform/clothing orders at that time. All club fees will be due at this meeting. An optional poinsettia fundraiser is available to help players defer their costs. *Club fees do not include other incidental costs such as admission fees for spectators, travel to and from tournaments, or meals and concessions*
Each player has an important role to fill on her team.
We recognize that our young athletes and their families have very busy schedules. We ask that you respect your team commitment and attend all JO activities. Please talk with your coach when conflicts prevent you from attending practice or competition. Balance is an extremely important quality of life. We encourage it, support it and believe in it!
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the JO program please contact the JO Co-Directors, Billeye Juarez and/or Misty Wollenburg at firstname.lastname@example.org
